Family Photography - What to Expect?

Family photography sessions can be a lot of work. Such as trying to figure out dates, thinking of what clothing to wear and gathering everyone together. Most of our client's lead very busy lives and we understand that their time is valuable. We make things as easy as possible for every client that books with us. We will help you decide what type of session you want, make scheduling very simple and suggest clothing options specific for your family. Atlanta Family Photography likes to keep our images simple and classic. So, for clothing options we suggest you do the same. We want each individual family member to shine in their photographs, not what you are wearing. We suggest wearing solid colors. If you would like, we will send you pinterest boards of what clothing options we recommend.

Booking a photography session with Atlanta Family Photography is an enjoyable experience. We make sure of it. Please view the step by step process below. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

1. Our first point of contact will be via text, phone or email.
2. Choosing whether you would like a studio, outdoor or home photography session.
3. We will go over which family photography package works best for you.
4. Then we schedule the date and time of for your family session.
5. To book with Atlanta Family Photography, a deposit will need to be made.
6. We then reserve your family session on our calendar.

The fun family photography session is over, what next? You will receive your proof images 3-5 business days after your session via our online gallery system. Our client system is for viewing your images and ordering only. Also, you may schedule an in person ordering appointment. You can come to the studio or we will come to your home. We offer our client's a variety of print sizes and custom print products. Such as canvases, wall photo standouts, photo albums, photo announcement cards, jewelry, and much more! The custom fine art options are endless. Every family photography package includes a certain number of retouched images. Our basic retouching services include image exposure, removal of facial glare, stray hairs, skin blemishes, spots in background and whitening of teeth. Advanced retouching is available upon request, but will require an additional fee. Retouching takes about a week. So, typically you will receive digital files and print/print products back within 2 weeks from your session date. Everything is mailed directly to you unless you would like to pick up your order at the studio, which is based in McDonough.
